NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (NIFT)

INTRODUCTION:

National Institute of Technology” was incorporated in 1986 by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. NIFT mainly concentrate design, management and Technology and developing professionals in the areas of fashions and technology.

The network of NIFT have been established in Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gandhi Nagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Rabareli and shilling.

INFRASTRUCTURE:

NIFT has all necessary infrastructure necessary to educate the up coming professionals while include Art labs and students, photography lab, pattern making and Draping labs, weaving labs, Dyeing and Printing labs, Technology labs, Knitwear lab, Government Technology lab, Accessory Design lab, Leather Design lab etc.

1.On the basis of results of written test GAT and CAT, B.Des aspirants will be called for the second Test called “situation test”.

2.For B.F.Tech aspirants GAT is the find test.

3.M.Des aspirants have to write GAT and CAT on the basis of results in these tests. (GAT & CAT – M.Des/ M.F.Tech & MFM- GAT) will be called for Group discussion & Personal Interview.
