About CCE Pattern of X CBSE - Board Exam

On the occasion of Inter National Education Day, school Children in Delhi met the Human Resources Minister Smriti Irani and expressed their opinion about continuous and comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system of X examination and also demanded to get back the earlier board exam:

I have summarized the demand of Delhi students to the minister. This is for you to think regarding the present study nature and though & process of the students.

This kind of analysis will be helpful to you in shaping the study-pattern of your ward.
1. In general of the students of selected students of the Delhi based school demanded they wanted “BOARD EXAMINATIONS” again instead of the examinations based on CCE system.
2. CCE pattern of examinations are not helpful to the students for preparing for the competitive and talent Examinations.
3. CCE system of Examination is not enough for the to prepare for All India Entrance Examinations like “JEE-IIT’ & “ All India Pre Medical Tests”
4. The exiting text books of NIERT given to X CBSE do not have sufficient information to study for competitive and Entrance examinations.
5. NCERT text books given to then (X CBSE) do not give them motivation or interest to read further.
6. NCERT text books need updating and must be in more presentable form.
7. NCERT text books should contest of information relevant to face competitive and Entrance examinations.
8. Students need career guidance and counseling from IX standard itself.
