Dear Students / Parents
Copying is a undesired habit in the board Examinations, in particular Higher secondary Examinations. Besides, a bad habit this may disturb the uniformity in valuations. So, the Directorate of Examination of State Government of Tamil Nadu is taking all possible steps to prevent this in the examination centres. Various measures like strict vigilance during examinations and flying squads are taken. Still, to avoid the problem in the origin level itself the Government is serious in organizing the question papers in such a way. This will certainly prevent the inclination of copying itself.
Steps taken or to be taken by the state Government to prevent copying in the origin level:
1) It is proposed to follow the “Jumbling” method of question paper. It means charring the order of the number of questions. The questions remain same, but only the order will change.
2) In state board XII Mathematics question papers, there are 40 multiple chose questions and in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany / Zoology), there are 30 Multiple choice questions. These questions carry one mark each. “Jumbling “method was followed as on last year. Now, it is decided to follow the same method in all the sections.
3) Originally6 there are two sets of question papers say A and B. but the methods like secret barcode, printing of register number of the students in the Answer sheet, and separate question papers for the halls were followed and so, A and B types systems was not followed. But now the government has decided to follow the jumbling method.
4) It is understood, that this system may come into force right from forthcoming private exam itself.
